Tessa focuses her practice on estate planning, trust administration, and probate law. She advises individuals on all aspects of estate and tax planning, and has experience preparing trusts, wills, powers of attorney, health care directives and real property transfer documents. She prides herself on creating customized, high-quality estate planning documents for her clients based on their specific families and needs. Tessa has spent much of her life working with special needs students and now devotes part of her practice to special needs trusts.
Tessa received her B.A. in political science from USC in 2016, with honors, and her J.D. from UC Davis School of Law in 2020. While in law school, Tessa served on the board of the King Hall Legal Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to increasing equal access of underserved populations to the American Legal System, represented domestic violence victims as a part of the Family Protection and Legal Assistance Clinic, and represented students with disabilities.
In her free time, Tessa enjoys spending time with her family and her Australian Shepherds, playing tennis, and cooking.
Tessa was born and raised in Santa Barbara and is actively involved in the Santa Barbara community, serving as the Co-President and a director of the Santa Barbara Barristers, serving on the board of the Cottage Rehabilitation Hospital Foundation, serving as a member of the Santa Barbara County Bar Association, participating in a mentoring group for Santa Barbara Women Lawyers, and volunteering for the Teddy Bear Cancer Foundation.
