Joe’s practice focuses on real estate, business transactions, and land use. He has significant experience in all aspects of real estate, including residential, commercial, and agricultural purchases and sales, leasing, title evaluation, financing, easements, boundary issues, and co-ownership arrangements. He also regularly advises clients in the selection, formation, operation and transfer of business entities.

Joe serves on the Board of Directors of the Elings Park Foundation, the largest community-supported non-profit public park in America. He has served as a Director of several other local nonprofits and is a former head of the Real Estate and Land Use section of the Santa Barbara County Bar Association. Outside the office Joe enjoys skiing, golf, riding his bike and spending time with his family.
