Professional Experience

 

Joe Billings represents individuals and businesses in the areas of real estate and business transactions, land use planning, and civil litigation in support of the firm’s real property and trust and estate practices.   His practice is mainly focused on all aspects of real estate matters, including residential, commercial and agricultural purchases and sales, leases, title evaluation, easements, boundary disputes, co-ownership arrangements and land use planning.

 

Joe’s clients appreciate his ability to identify and implement practical and cost-effective solutions in order to achieve their goals. This approach enables Joe to handle important and complex real estate, land use and business matters from start to finish.

 

Joe in the Community

 

Joe is actively involved in the Santa Barbara community. He is the head of the Real Estate and Land Use section of the Santa Barbara County Bar Association, is a member of the American Inns of Court, William L. Gordon Chapter, and has served on the board of directors of several local nonprofits.  Joe also regularly presents to local organizations regarding real estate and land use issues. Outside the office Joe enjoys traveling, live music, skiing and backpacking in the Sierra Nevada.
