About Jeff

Jeff focuses his practice on estate planning, trust and estate administrations, probate law, and conservatorships, always keeping in mind that the issues at stake matter deeply to families: building legacies and planning thoughtfully for some of life’s biggest changes.  He works closely with his clients to plan, structure and draft estate planning documents that meet not just legal requirements but individual human needs as well.  One of the factors that sets Jeff apart is the depth of experience he brings to every engagement.  Having spent years advising trustees, executors, agents under powers of attorney, conservators and beneficiaries through the full arc of trust and estate administration, he understands not just how plans are written — but how they actually play out.  Jeff’s extensive experience in the administration of trusts and estates informs his estate planning practice, as he is able to draft documents that anticipate problems and incorporate solutions.

Before joining Allen & Kimbell, LLP in 2026, Jeff honed his expertise over more than 13 years at Barnes & Barnes, where his practice was devoted exclusively to estate planning, trust, conservatorship and probate law.
